The Hu Shin Kai Alumni Foundation is proud to have offered an engaging and enriching Introduction to Programming course for the children and youth members of our dojo.
Using MIT’s Scratch platform — a beginner-friendly, visual programming tool — our young members were introduced to the exciting world of coding in a fun and interactive way. The course was designed to spark creativity, develop logical thinking, and lay a solid foundation for future learning in technology.
The sessions were led by two highly qualified instructors from the gaming industry — one holding a Ph.D. and the other a Master’s degree in Computer Science. Their professional expertise and passion for teaching made for an outstanding learning experience. Every participant rose to the challenge and did a fantastic job!
At Hu Shin Kai, we believe that true development goes beyond the physical practice of Karate. We are committed to empowering our members with skills and knowledge that will serve them well in all areas of life. Programs like this reflect our dedication to helping every member reach their full potential — both inside and outside the dojo.
We look forward to continuing to offer opportunities like this for our community, and we are deeply grateful to the Hu Shin Kai Alumni Foundation for making it possible!
